Dental Implants – Wellington

Dental implants often provide the ideal solution for the replacement of one or more teeth. The main advantage is that the dental implants are secured and fitted to your jaw, to ensure a safe and permanent solution. With the advancement in dental technology, dental implants provide a durable and smile enhancing solution.

Cosmetically, your dental implants will look and present like natural teeth. Most importantly, with your implant/s and teeth secured tightly to your jaw, you can be assured that your teeth will remain fixed in place throughout the day, especially when eating and drinking.

Our Dental Implants Services | Wellington

At Smile Design we offer an extensive level of service to support your tooth and dental implant requirements.

We are a full service provider.

Our services include:

  • Initial consultation and examination for your implant requirements. This may include taking some dental x-rays or other imaging scans.
  • Surgical placement of your titanium dental implant/s, all undertaken at our practice. Depending on your implant requirements and type of implant, this procedure may be done under a general anaesthetic or a local anaesthetic. We will advise you of this prior to your surgical appointment.
  • Also, on the day of the surgery we will place temporary tooth crowns, to provide you with an aesthetic appearance from day one.
  • Following the settling in of the dental implant (normally 4 to 6 months), we will then place and secure your permanent tooth/crown.
  • If required, we can also undertake bone grafting and socket preservation work, prior to the fitting of the dental implant.

Single Tooth Replacement

Dental implants provide the perfect solution for when you wish to replace an individual tooth. We simply surgically implant a dental implant into the jaw, to enable the tooth crown to attach to the titanium implant.

Replacement of Several Teeth

If you need to replace multiple teeth, dental implants provide a durable and long-term approach. With the placement of the two securing titanium implants for an individual space, multiple teeth crowns can be attached.

Treatment & Repairs

As part of our comprehensive service, we offer full treatment and repairs to existing dental implants. This includes restoration of tooth crowns, and any treatment or repairs to the titanium implant.

Implant Placement & Restoration

We are a full service provider; all services are provided in-house.
