Having vacated from our previous address of some 30 years, we can now showcase our knowledge, experience and expertise in professional surroundings which reflect our passion and dedication towards the practice of dentistry.

Dr Oliver Ferry
Oliver graduated from Otago University in 1984. He has worked in private practice in London and Edinburgh as well as being a senior house officer at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital.
When returning from overseas in 1989, Oliver worked as a dental registrar at Wellington and Hutt Hospitals before forming the dental practice in 1990 on the Terrace.
Oliver is a member of the NZ Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Australian Osseointegration Society, NZ Society for Sedation, and the NZ Dental Association where he is an active member of the committee of the Wellington Branch.
Oliver’s interests lie in restoring smiles to their natural beauty and dental health, in the simplest and most non-invasive way. This includes implant placement and the use of sedation. He is passionate about general dentistry and caring for his patients. Oliver is also a fluent French language speaker.
Road Cycling is Oliver’s passion outside of his work and he recently won his age group in the New Zealand Nationals and went to the World championships in Denmark.
Dr Raymond Joe
Raymond graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 1993, having previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Waikato University. Following graduation, he gained clinical experience in practices in the Hutt Valley, Wairarapa, Wellington and New Plymouth before joining our current practice as one of its principals in 1999.
Raymond has been a member of the NZ Dental Association for 20 years and is a member of the NZACD since it was founded in 2005.
Dr Raymond Joe is a general dentist. He is highly skilled with the knowledge and expertise needed to provide for most of your dental care needs, and constantly updates his dental skills and knowledge with continuing education.
Dr Raymond Joe practices general dentistry, providing care for the entire family and enjoys working with his patients to develop individual treatment plans, from children right up to his long term elderly patients.
When not practising dentistry Raymond enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his young family.
Dr Lakshmi Petikam
Lakshmi has been practising dentistry since 2003 in Wellington.
She has experience in all facets of general family dentistry and regularly attends courses to keep in the forefront of her career. She has a desire to be abreast of the latest advances in her profession, especially in the fields of preventative and long term dentistry.
Lakshmi’s very caring nature makers her a popular member of our team.
Belinda has worked in the Reception Team as our Practice Manager for over 10 years and is well known to many of our patients. She is entrusted with the day to day running of the practice from general reception and administrative duties to managing staff and training. Belinda also works alongside Oliver to co-ordinate patient treatment plans and assists Oliver in the surgery when required. Belinda has a wide knowledge of dentistry practice from her 22 years in the field and has worked alongside a variety of dental and medical professionals both in private clinics and hospital environments. Her experience enables her to answer any queries you may have relating to your treatment.
Belinda commutes each day to work from the Wairarapa and in her spare time enjoys socialising with friends and Off Road Four Wheel Driving with her husband.
Alison has recently re-joined our practice after two years working in an administration role for the New Zealand Fire Service. She previously worked with us in 2010. Alison works part time in the Reception Team, greeting patients, answering phone calls, making appointments and undertaking the general administration duties of the practice. She is an experienced receptionist and her friendly nature enables our patients to feel at ease.
In her spare time Alison likes to spend time with her family and friends on outdoor adventures, she has recently taken up Mountain Biking and is enjoying discovering the many trails in the Wellington area.
Pip joined the Reception team at our practice in 2012 and is now working as Raymond’s Chairside Assistant. Pip has 17 years chairside and front office experience in both medical and dental practices. Pip has a thorough understanding of general dentistry and is skilled at assisting with a wide range of procedures and ensuring our patients receive the best of care.
Working alongside Oliver, Rachel brings over eleven years experience in General Dentistry and Orthodontics. She achieved her New Zealand Dental Assisting Certificate qualification in 2005 and the following year she achieved her Orthodontic Auxiliary Certificate. She has a wide range of knowledge and experience in resotrative dentistry and implants. Rachel is passionate about dentistry, and she ensures that our patients are well cared for during their treatment.
Alyssia graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2011. She is a current member of the NZ Dental Hygiene Association.
Originally from the Bay of Plenty, Alyssia moved to Wellington in 2013. Since moving to the Capital, Alyssia has gained valuable experience working between a specialist periodontal practice and Smile Design Dental Group. Treatments include maintenance of general oral health through to management of advanced gum disease.
